Is the limiter pumping at the beginning of the mix or is it just my ears? At certain points in the song, it sounds like you are driving the mix too hard into the limiter?

Hmm..I'm not sure about the beginning but you are right about the overall limiting of the mix..I took it up to the point that it starts distorting and at certain points it is more obvious than intended! I'm still trying to figure things out in the "studio" domain (I'm a live mixing engineer). This song is definitely one of those that I will come back and re-mix, as soon as I improve my studio mixing skills.
