James May - Don't Let Go - Mixed by LB
#1
Hey all,

This carries on my experiments with using Acustica Nebula. In this case I tried to use only Nebula instances and create channel strips emulating the 31102 strip emulated by Tim Petherick. I used the 1176, LA2A, and R6-BA by Tim Petherick on this one too. I should have used Tea Rooms reverb to complete the collection, but ended up using Silver by Acustica instead.

See what you think,
Feedback is very welcome

Here's an alternative, more reverb heavy, mix. This was also made in Logic Pro rather than Reaper, as even though Reaper works well with plugins I'm not gelling as well with it as I would like. Logic has an old familiar and always tweak-able way to it without being overly complicated. I also used a Stam Audio SA4000Mk2 on this on the master-bus. It definitely worked a treat.

Also I made this with two of the latest aquas from Acustica; Nickel, and Eminence. I used Eminence a lot, and also had a channel of VSC by Fuse Audio Labs on each channel. There are no instances of Nebula in this this time.
