I mixed/mastered this using home made software I developed. It analyzes the tracks and attempts to get a "roughly ok" mix which I can then tweak manually. I first did sub-mixes of drums, guitars, and keys, then read those in as individual tracks in the main mix adding bass, vocal, and backing vocal. My software does EQ, compression to level high peaks, reverb (on the vocals only), mix glue compressor, and mastering compressor and limiter. I will probably add more options in the future. Here, since the bass track was labeled "DI" I processed it through a bass amp sim (Waves GTR3 "thunder amp") before mixing.
