MIX NOTES
- Track was produced well in my opinion and the back and forth between hard verses and dancy chorus was great, right up my alley
- Cut out a quarter notes length right before the chorus to make the transition not so jarring, leaving in only SFX5 to bridge the gap
- Kick sidechained to duck the bass; bass sub frequencies also highpassed up to 40hz to clear out bottom end
- Very little EQ was done compared to my other mixes, majority of focus was on mix balance and vocal clip gaining, balance, and background vox
- More multiband saturation and compression was done rather than EQ
- Routed drums and synths to a group to be dynamically EQ'ed when the LeadVox comes in to carve out space
