That is very true. I have rolled a lot of low end off of the snare. This includes the room mics, the overheads and especially the drummer's mic. All of those sources add to the sound of my snare. As I really wanted a tight crack which I felt worked with the bounce of the song and the pointilistic character of the rapid fire lyrics, I am happy with the results. I feel the snare sits well and establishes itself dynamically in proper places within the arrangement. In general I have dropped a good portion of low end in these mixes to that end. I also wanted the melodic nature of the great bass playing to come through my mix. I still think I could clarify the bass and the lead vocals a touch more.

Any comments on those elements?

Nice mix! as mentioned, I think the snare can have a bit more low end weight as it is an important part of the groove.
Perhaps the vocal chorus effects are a bit too much and distractive?

Cheers!
