Nice mix! That bass part is great isn't it? Really liking the percussion and cymbals here too.

Cheers!

The whole song is fantastic! I have wondered what the bass on a low toned horn sounds like. Very round. Weird to try to shape it out and EQ it. I used a tubey sounding slow compressor for it. I actually think it took away some of the sub notes, but it rounded out the sound just a little more so nicely, it put harmonics of the subs in the upper bass regions. The percussion are definitely my favorite part, so I boosted them with an exciter in the upper treble so it gives them some tweeter harmonics. I sent all of the horns to a Buss track, but I only put reverb on one of the horn tracks that is playing the Mid section so it resonates the contrasting sound to the lead horns. Very nice Smile
