Nearly There

Hey guys, here is my mix of Nearly There. I am relatively new to mixing so looking for whatever feedback you have.

It's obviously a really broken down song and I decided to lean on the original sound quality of the acoustic and cello. I tried to leave in a lot of the picking and the bow from the cello.

However, with the vocals I did altar the sound a little to try and make it maybe a little more interesting than the original recording. That's more of a style choice than anything but it has to pay off if you are going to do it. Hopefully it did. Let me know what you think.

As such there is nothing wrong with your work.

I, however, do not agree with your choice of vocal processing, as I believe it belongs to a completly different genre. However, this is not a technical issue, but more of and artistic choice, which means that your guess is as good as mine.
