#1
Hello, this is my version.
I try mixing only with Cockos Reaper built in plugins..

Edited : Ups. Plus TDR Nova to reduce S problems in vocals. Big Grin

I think the vocals could come back in the mix. When they're so far out from the rest of the band could feel weak. The kick is a little annoying. Did you trigger a sample at all with the "kick trigger" track. If I remember correctly this song didn't have a kick drum track. Or maybe you just mixed in a lot of the trigger track. Either way it's pretty 'click-y' The toms can definitely come up. The tambourine could come down.

The whole mix itself is pretty loud. It doesn't have to be.

It's very dry. Some reverbs and effects could help gel things together a bit more.

Overall, tonally it sounds good. It's clear without being overly bright. I think the balances of the vocals and instruments could be adjusted. I don't know how you approach the mix but maybe try something like getting a mix of the drums and bass and then the vocals to have them work together and then bring in the other elements like the guitars. It's just a thought.

Hope that helps
