I am happy with how this turned out. This dude's vocals are a little hard to mix, just with the tonality (unless it's just the recording).

Really good work here! Very dry mix, a bit too dry for my taste - I think some tracks just beg to be drenched in reverb but thats just my taste. EQ-wise your vocals are just fine. The Vocals are indeed tough to mix, the dynamics are all over the place, they can be brought up a bit in your mix.  I've heavily compressed the vocals and automated it over the whole track so they don't get lost in the mix - the latter was a recommendation of this forum, maybe you should try it, too. Nevertheless some solid work here, nothing really to complain about.
