You handled it better than I did. I should have just put Monk on my ignore list from the start. He's obsessed and believes everyone uses headphones. I'm assuming he did the same here as well but I can't say because I can't see his posts.  Just a heads up that he will try to dox you (as he did me) and post personal info if you confront him too much. Just put him on ignore and enjoy a better signal to noise ratio.
