Really? Percussion overload?
#1
Alright, I'd like to first say that I am not a fan of this song:

1. Nobody needs 86 thousand tracks of percussion.

2. The snare drum, despite having three mic'd tracks with which to work, might be the worst I've ever heard.

3. On a stylistic, songwriting note, the vocals for chorus are really not effective as a hook, imho.

But, leaving all personal tastes out of this, the snare required action. So I pulled out the trusty ol' Audio Snap tools in SONAR and added a 4th track of snare, a second overhead, and a second room mic using Addictive Drums. After that, I figured I had a shot at actually pulling off a mix.

Here's the result. Hope it sounds ok.
