My first impression was it feels timid but then I heard the trailing effects on the synth which was a nice touch. My second impression was too much in the face. Like you were trying to hard. Let it breath and it may flow together better. That kick is was too strident for this genre, IMHO. Also a bit too mono. Still, not bad.
