I went kind of crazy with the effects on this one to make things sound big and spacious. Seems to be the opposite what most people did, so it would be interesting to hear what people think of the mix.

I found that the instruments were playing over each other, so it was really hard to find room for everything. With the two guitars, the piano and the steel guitar, there is just too much going on. I ended up using some really heavy automation to help the ear latch on to one of these sounds at a time and make the listener focus on what's important.

Before this, I mixed a spekatularitus track and immediately when you push up the faders it sounds great. This was really the opposite.
