Once this mix neared completion, I realized that I got stuck a bit too much in my habits, perhaps, and made it more in accordance to darksynth (subgenre of synthwave). It's quite different from the official release, but I think I like it nevertheless.
I also took some freedom in the verse, but I think in the context it makes sense.
