Here's my master of Dad's Glad. This mix had some really nervous compression going on, particularly noticable on the guitars in the choris, which is a shame.
Anyway, tried to bring in a bit of front-to-back depth with some mide-side eq and to tame some of the wool + fill out the bottom end. Other than that, I tried to recover some of the transients with some upwards expansion to bring some life back into the guitars, but the choking sound of the compression still is killing the feel of the track.
