in this mix I started with drums.
using a soft compression and EQ for the kick and snare

for overheads use an EQ and cut the low end
and reverb for all drums except the kick

for bass, just use a slow compression

for guitars, use a soft compression and EQ boosting the high mid range, cut some low end, and reverb to the solo guitar

for piano, soft compression and EQ

for pads, do not use any process

and the voice, first use an EQ to cut low end. then a soft compression, and again one, EQ to recover some upper midrange, which is lost by the compression, then use a transient designer, to soften the attack of the voice, and EQ to give air, and Finally use a de-esser
also has a bit of reverb

the master fader has a soft and slow compressor, then a glue compressor, and EQ, finally a peak limiter


this song is very well recorded, and there is no limitation, that I mixed in a cheap home theater, without any kind of pro audio hardware
