Stitch Up

Here's my version

I used all the tracks and had a go at blending in all the vocal ad-libs too....with mixed results, pardon the pun. By the time I'd finished I'd lost my objectivity so left them in...what the hell....they sounded OK in headphones but not so good in speakers

Thanks for listening

New version, Mix 3, to address feedback below

Drums - Increase level overall and EQ Kick, snare & toms
Vocals - EQ notch at 8K to reduce sibilance.

Also, from personal reflection

Vocals - mute ad-libs. Although fun to mix, i found them distracting
Bass - Re-balance with drums
Guitars - Re-balance within mix

mix-down at-16 dBFS so you may have to turn up your speakers a little..

Thanks for listening

Hi
Haven't tried this mix yet !
Having a listen to your mix and sounds great !
Being really critical but the guitars sound like they could come down in the 3.5-4.5 kHz area on my monitors Big Grin !
Great job
Don

Hey Don,

Thanks for your feedback.

You must have good ears/monitors! I just checked my guitar EQ and I do have a 4dB boost at 3kHz! One of my go-to pre-sets

Some of the guitar tracks are recorded on the bright side - now all i can hear is that 3Khz boost! LOL

Cheers

Hi!

Using presets!? Dont do that!

In my experience, a BIG waste of time! Undecided
