nice spacious mix - agree with the above comments, vocal doesn't feel right to me - it sounds almost like a telephone eq. rest it great though!

OctopusOnFire Wrote:Just fix that annoying frequency coming up in the voice from time to time around 2-3k and you've got it. It's not noticeable on the choruses, though.
Thanks forĀ lending your ears ,I tamed some resonances around 2-3k and uploaded version 2 .

I'm mixing this song as well, so kudos for the mix now that I've seen the insane amount of tracks Big Grin
On the other hand, is one of the best set of raw tracks I've seen in the whole site.

The voice is fixed. Honestly, can't say anything negative about the mix. I will use it as a reference. Great job.
ITB Setup: Reaper, Airwindows, IK Multimedia TR5, XLN AD2 ATrigger and RC-20, Waves.
Monitoring: Dynaudio BM5 mkIII, Behritone, Sennheiser HD 650. Semi-treated room.

What a muting mayhem. Big Grin

First thing I did with the mix was summing up stuff. A lot of stuff. It pays off later, and helps familiarizing yourself with the production. I didn't feel the need to mute anything because the different recordings of a same thing really complemented each other well. I could turn some mic down 15 or 20 dB, but no muting anyway.

BUT you must commit to it and promise yourself never ever to come back once you summed them up. Or else you go insane lol.
