tbh I actually prefer the drier approach you took in the 1st version. I think if you introduce a little more compression and some subtle reverb to the mix it can sound better than your current 2nd version. Your v2 right now is a little out of weird sounding with the vocals so loud and wet, but the bass so low in the mix.

btw, check my mix out as well!

sounds good. maybe the bass/kick low transient could go down a bit. i like the synthy reverby thing levels feel very good.
