Nice take. Good sensitivity to texture and tone. Good imaging. Interesting arrangement ideas. I would like to hear more definition of the bass especially under the sax solo. Really good movement. A great listen. Well done.

yes, the bass was (for me) very difficult to mix. i make some additions on the bass channel with mutron, chorus und wahwah, but the effect is modest.

Nice movement, exactly what the song needs -) Sax is also a difficult one to mix in this track - remember having a hard time when I tried to deal with it -)

yes, saxophone is recorded very "thin".
my approach: i gave the sax a big dent (10 dB) with 800 Hz (waves SSL E-Channel) for the necessary "warmth".
not quite according to the theory, but it helped this time.
