Here's my take. For a bit of fun I replaced the drums and tried to make the whole thing more 1950's sounding. Not period-correct by any means, but in the vein of that era.
A lot of the decisions were damage limitation. Trying to mask the tuning artefacts on the lead vocal and hide the very digital sounding piano and acoustic guitar.
