First of all! What a fantastic resource this website is. I'm just getting my start trying to mix (this one I'm submitting is one of the first ones I've ever done), and can't say how cool it was to find this site! Thanks to the artists for making all this available! Would love some critical feedback on this!

A few observations as I listen through
- I like the big space you are going for. The chorus and reverb tail feel a bit overdone on the lead vocal - dial them back a bit?
- sample replacement - a subjective choice - if you were mixing it for me, I would state my preference as the artist to "at most" augment the existing drum sounds
- drum bus compression sounds a bit squashed to me - cymbals are poking out a bit from the mix. I think a little chorus impact is lost as a result.
- something I liked about your mix vision for verse 3 - really cool
- bass definition - I am losing the fills in the bass part. Consider a parallel distortion track and automate up those fills
