Here is my mix of the song.
-Drums were sampled, except the snare. I just used the samples given.
-Bass was split to DI and reamped. Goal was to give it more of a punk bass feel.
-Guitars was...well...apart from fader moves, nothing was done. I did use some EQ on my first pass, but a lot of the low mids was gone, so they are as stock as can be.
-Vocals used autotune on the mains to sweeten it up and some post processing. The stock vocals were really well recorded (I think I heard a distressor in there) so I didn't do too much as far as EQ and compression is concerned.
-Strings I think was recorded using MIDI, so I didn't do anything to them otherwise.
Mastering was very simple. Some automation with the chorus and some tape saturation to give it some oomph in the mids. Goal was to sound like a pop punk record that CLA mixed.
