I'm Alright - First mix - appreciate your input

What a fun track to work with! Makes life easy when recording is so tight.
I'm not used to mixing this genre. Really appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

I liked a lot your mix!
There are some thinks that i dont liked; The attack in the voice is too fast and maybe u need to smooth the transients of the voice. The kick is also small, maybe you need to crush it a little bit Wink Double it and use Rbass or just eq and crush. I also recomend u to sidechain the bass with the kick input, you will gain a lot of push!!
Also i was thinking about the verbs, are ther any? hehehe You only have a small reverb (1s or 2s) (that i can hear), maybe you need a small reverb to give the voice some distance and a large one to make the "room" he is actually singing very close to the mic!!!
check my mix out!! i'm also learning
thanks

I have listened the 2 mixes, second is better.
I like the general sound, but I guess that the rythm acoustic is a bit hidden.

I am new too. Smile
