Happy 2014!
#1
Hi everyone!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and new year! I just wanted to thank you all for being interested in my music and wish you the best of health and luck in the coming year.

I'm deep in the middle of recording some new music and working with a couple of other bands as well, so my dropping in will be extremely limited for a while. Please help me out by listening to each other's mixes and offering suggestions. It really does help everyone learn and get better.

Most importantly, KEEP IT LOUD!

Johnny

Keep it loud!

Happy new year and thank you for all the feedback you have given to us.
It is just great that you have your mix you upload and you get feedback from other members and from the artist himself.
And that goes also to others mixes. You can hear a mix and you get your own opinion about it.
Then you can read what others think about it and as a bonus what the artist liked / disliked in the mix.
Practice your analytic listening skills.
Listen others mixes and give feedback.
Become a better mixer.

Thanks! Hope you did, too! Smile

Oh I will. Though I'll do it by turning up the volume rather than the compressor... Big Grin

Speaking of "old school" mixing techniques, love that 80's hard rock vibe you have. I hope you plan to post more multitracks for us to sink our teeth into sometime soon... Wink
