Hi,

this is a good mix, although I disagree with quite a lot of your decisions. The reverb seems too obvious for me, your panning of the accoustic guitar diminishes the countermelody-potential of the bass, to me the bass is the solo instrument not the backing vocals and you should give the whole mix 1 second more to decay.

Cheers

The low mids of the epiano or guitar seem to overpower everything a bit

Am I right you use the solo button a lot ?
This mix sound like some mixes I made when evrything sounded great on their own but together with the rest o the instruments it drowned.

I think you should look into the lower mids as there are lot o buildup there, rhodes lowend, kick and bas fight for space.

My AKG headphones are usually pretty forgiving about that area but even on those its too hard to define whats goin on in the lower mids
Could be your room or speakers too ?
Locut and subtractive eq are your friends to solve that.

Old ears, old gear, little boy inside love music and sounds and my wife, not necessarily in that order
