Shore TChianti Mix1
#1
I kept all the parts in and tried to concentrate on separation and placements. I feel that this may wind up being just my first attempt. Not exactly sure why though.

Great tune, band and production Smile

Thanks,
TC

In your mix everything is trying to take the peak spot.
Try to get more space to everything.
Somehow you have managed to make the verse more dense than the chorus.

All the instruments sounds good but only thing to have any space is the guitar in the solo.
If you need an advice (like I would ask, you get like it or not...) start with the lead voc in chorus. Make everything and anything to sound big but behind that lead voc.
After that move to verse and same procedure but now not as big as in the chorus.
Practice your analytic listening skills.
Listen others mixes and give feedback.
Become a better mixer.

Thanks for the advice! Smile

These are things I will try.
