Another great track by the talented Mr. Santiago.
This one came together pretty quickly for me with just nuances taking some time to automate.
The recorded tones were excellent and I found that in most cases a lot of tone shaping was not needed.
I made some minor arrangement changes and created an environment I hope supports the tenor of the lyric.
Ricardo Santiago - Let the Music Fade Away - Master 4
A few minor tweaks. Introduced the lead guitar in the second verse and dropped it completely in the first; eased back on the compression ratio on the primary lead vocal compressor so the voice did not get 'swallowed' as much; Slowed the attack time on the drum buss compressor to allow the snare to pop above a bit more; lowered the over-all volume in the mastering chain a touch.
Comments appreciated.
Happy Listening,
