Hi, I'm a newbie at mixing and I'm glad I found this site, hopefully I could exercise a lot and get better. Here's my first attempt with Etc, please tell me if you have any feedback.
I'm a huge fan of the chorus effect, that I use to enhance the stereo. I touched the overheads with it, since they were in mono at first, and also the room vocals. Is this a legit technique ? Is it subtle enough ? (I think one can hear the overheads phasing a bit)
For the bass tone I used the DI a lot instead of the amplified chanel. Recreating a sound for drums was also challenging because of all the bleeding.
I have one more question about the first seconds of the track and the outro: what am I supposed to do with it ? should I cut the noise, create a different fade out, end the track abruptly ? I don't know so I left it like it was.
