David Tyo: 'Long Way Home' (critiques plz)

Hey guys,

this is my mix. I went a bit brighter with it than most of the other mixes here. Especially with the vocal but I think its just right to achieve that crisp high-end without sounding harsh, at least on my headphones. Anyway let me know what you think!
Mastered at -10.7dbLUFS which is pretty compressed but still more dynamic than the offical mix.

It works. It is bright but not harsh. I do think there is a lot of upper midrange in the various instruments and it seems to work but I think you might be able to notch some of that energy out of some parts and open up some real estate for other parts and have more distinction between instruments. It seems in this song everything track is pretty bright and pristine and I think it could all be redistributed better. But again this mix does work as is.
