Children of no one mix
#1
Here is my mix of "Children of no one". On this one I have used a lot of new techniques for mixing drums such as bus compressors, distressors, and transient shapers. The snare is a little tough to work with, from the sort of weird sound as it trails out, but I think in the mix it works just fine. The guitar tracks sound like DIs, not sure if they are but I used them as such. I used a very subtle gate on them to get rid of the static when they are not playing, but still keep the human nuances as I felt they work well in this particular song. Let me know what you think and if there's anything I should change. Thanks

Update: I fixed the gate so it doesn't have that weird guitar string noise at the beginning before it starts. I also added some saturation to the hammond and the drums, and I backed off everything except the drums and bass by about 1 decibel to make it seem a little less "squished". Any feedback at all would really be great.
