Got some good tips from the mix rescue for this one. Focused on getting levels right first as tend to forget that it's just as much mastering as all other stuff. Payed attention to truepeak values. Also used plenty of limiters hadn't really done before and that helped to get volume up without going over peaks.
there's always a lot to mixing drums, finally think i'm getting the hang of mixing around the room tracks as before they just confused me.. and didn't really bother with them, which is why I could never get the sound I was after. As in this song, the full snare is really across 4 tracks.
didn't think the bg vocals added much so didn't include them, adiding a saturator to guitars was just what they needed.
