Interesting to hear more of a raw version after years of having the Mix Rescue mix in my head. I like the focus yours puts onto the vocal, which I've always felt was a bit of star turn in terms of performance.

There's so much space in this mix, that everything comes through nice and clearly, so there's no real masking issues, and the tones are all pretty well-chosen on a subjective level, although I do wonder whether I'd prefer a bit more low midrange on the guitar. (Memory suggests to me that this was actually a problem with the recording that was almost impossible to remedy, so maybe that's the root cause of that.) The effects all seem very well judged, so that there's a definite sense of depth to the production, which I like.

Altogether there's not much I can find to criticise -- it's very different from my version, but just as valid artistically. Thanks for letting us hear it!

The voice is the star in this mix and it makes me think: Jack Johnson meets sound FX :-)
Very pleasant space and soundscape youve created, good taste in the choices of level and FX.
