It feels really good. The vocals a bit of an edge (3-5k?) that bothers me but that's not a useful critique.
I think overall it could be more dynamic. It's a fine flat bed but I think there's something in the drumbeat that is so constant and hypnotizing in a way that elements need to pop out and catch the ear a little more. I think that vocal quality I mentioned before plays into it. It feels like it's always there in the vocal, guitars, organ, snare, cymbals, and therefore kind of takes away the build of the song. I'm sure I'm not explaining it well.

Again, all minor points. It's a very good mix.

Nice full sounding mix!
Nice prominent bass tone and really like the drums. The only issue from my pespective is vocal seems a bit overprocessed especially deessing. Good job Smile

I also like your mix a lot!
Yes the vocals sounds a bit screwed, almost like she has a cold.

Hey Roy. Thanks for listening. Appreciate the feedback. I think some of that "quality" is mic bleed. Its the thing about these telefunken sessions. sometimes it really works for you and other times works against you

hey Lethan. Thanks for listening. Yeah, the vocal was pretty challenging. I'm not sure if the choice of mic for the artist was the best....it was kinda harsh and honky.....not the best qualities. By the time i'd dealt with that the vox ended being really sibilant. went back in an dialed back as much compression as i could and tried to be sparing with the deeser but I was never really that happy with it.

cheers
