Hello,

here's my mix attempt of Spektakulatius: 'Is You Is Or Is You Ain't'. I tried to make this one a bit more modern. I'm looking forward to your opinions. I mixed the whole thing with the Console1 from Softube and the channel-plugin britiwsh class A (Neve 1084).

You have really messed up the sound of the horns. It's sounds distorted or you just boosted a lot of midrange. It sounds very unnatural and distracts from the song. The cymbals also sound quite harsh. I think a good balance of the raw would sound better than this mix.

Sorry if that was too harsh. I hope this was helpful anyway.
