I'm Alright (Bowling For Dollars Mix)

Tossing my mix of Angel In Amplifiers "I'm Alright" into the ring for critique and verbal abuse. :-)

I really enjoyed mixing this song. Great energy with a catchy hook and the upbeat Latin feel definitely offsets the somewhat depressing lyrics. Boo hoo hoo...here's some flamenco guitar to make you feel better!

A touch of mastering done on the end with compression, some EQ to brighten things up, some tape emulation and limiting (but not so much to smash the bejeezus out of it).

Let me know what you think because my ears are tired at this point.

Interesting sound, a lot of reverb which makes it sound very wide and "open".
The only thing that could've been better though is the mastering - it sounds pretty mashed up and the reverb doesn't sound as fluent as it should because of the smashing against the limiter.
Too much smashing, but the overall sound is not bad at all and I actually like this kind of open and reverb-feeling in this track.
