Hollow Ground-Ill Fate-mosh mix
#1
Hi all,

Here's my stab at this mayhem. This one brings back some angsty youth memories.

These guys remind me of Judge.

Despite some fuzzy guitars (and I like them), I think these tracks were pretty well recorded. Props to the recording engineer.

Drums: As recorded, no samples.
Bass: Blended the amp and DI together with Bass Professor 2 and some additional eq and compression.
Guitars: Mix 1, mostly the amps with a little DI blended in. Mix 2, mostly DI with some amps blended in to keep some of that warm fuzzy tone.
Vox: Just some leveling, eq and some short delay.

Mix 2 had some additional tweaks to get things more rockin'.

Updated mix 2 to a quick "mastered" version.

Mix 3: Brightened up mix 2.

This tune seriously kicks.

Cheers!

Mix update: tightened up low mids, tamed highs, ducked center guitars to vox to help give vocals more space and adjusted various levels. Let me know what you gurus think.

Added a mix 2 with di guitars as main guitar focus. Beefed up snare to help it punch through. Pretty crankin' mix now I hope. Having fun with this one for sure!
