Signs - AZmix

Okay... This one was difficult. I think I've got about 30 hours invested in this multi-track.

Had a devil of a time trying to get that bass to settle in and then I realized that when he hit the chorus, he apparently reached for his tone controls and that was throwing everything off for me. It also didn't help that the various sections of the vocal tracks apparently weren't done at the same time or otherwise were patched together, giving varying gain levels. I also wish the vocalist hadn't chosen to do the chorus as a separate track since it added the task of trying to match the two, but it is what it is. Most of my time was spent on the drums and bass with the bulk of rest going to the vocals.

I still need to go through and clean up the bass track as far as finding areas to copy onto flubbed spots but as it is, its not really noticeable until you listen closely.

Anyway, let me know what you think. Comments and suggestions are welcome, as always.

[ BTW, Mike, you should probably pin your thread to the top ]
