There's no failure only learning opportunities. My advice, select a professional track of hip hop similar to Kangoro (I used Run the Jewels), match volume levels and see what your mix is missing or over emphasizing compared to the pro track. Then ,after you know what to fix, go and fix it and compare again. take care and keep on mixing!
