Here I leave to your consideration my mix of this very beautiful song.

Sometimes I think that if anyone says anything in the post mine, because I'm doing things right, or very wrong.

Very good vocal sounds. I like it.
Nice and smooth overall sound.

I wonder if the acoustic guitar is too shy. Or maybe it's just fine the way it is.

I'm not sure what I think about that reverb with mandolin. Either it's superb or maybe it's too much… So, I'd leave it like it is. It creates interesting space and mood to this song.

Olli H does not have doubts about mandolins reverb is excellent ..... lol
that create a climate for the song in the style of Gustavo Santaolalla.
as the saying "... many cows eat grass can not be wrong"

Beautiful mix ! What verb is that on the mandolin ?
Old ears, old gear, little boy inside love music and sounds and my wife, not necessarily in that order

i dont remeber but, that had much reverb pre delay 40ms, was a plate about 4 sec of decay, to give off a lot of spatiality and mix. the intention was to make it out of the mix in a place and in the air, as if hanging.
I hope you serve, try that and make it.

sorry for my bad english

from the end of the world
