hi all together
here´s my mix to queens light from dino on the loose
a realy cool song. i had a lot of fun mixing it. i love the bass-line.

i mixed all in the box with logic x and mainly logic- and some uad-plug ins (mainly the ssl e-chanel).

i would love to get some comments on my version. thanks in advance

Pretty good job the drums and bass in the intro are great
You have got the bass guitar sounding nice and funky !
Just a little build up of mid bass frequencies when the synth 1 starts playing ,which can be adjusted by filtering out mid bass frequencies on the synth , organ and electric piano maybe below 200hz .
Also the snare has a ring at 510hz which can be filtered out with a parametric eq.
Hope this helps you make sound even better !

Nice balance you got.I found your mix pretty aggressive and i like it.The kick is not separates from the bass though.I will agree with don for snare.

now i tried to delete the snare-resonance and did further more filtering in the upper bass, lower mid frequencies. what do you think.

yesterday i heard your mix in the studio in comparison to my mix. and i found out, that especially your bass and lower mid area is cleaned up so much more. what´s your miracle ? ;-)

Just played around with a combination of multiband compression and eq on the lower mid between 100 and 250hz on the bass and kick until it sounded how i wanted it !

you did a very good job. until now, i tried a lot but faild in getting a more natural sounding kick. also your snare...i couldn´t find the medicine to clear off the agressive attack in the snare. your is so well balanced.
