#1
Hey peoples,

this is my mix (not quite polished with automation or similar) but pretty much complete besides that.

V2: Adjusted: Vocal Warmth, Levels, Overall Brightness, Reverb Sends

You are hereby kindly reminded to leave some comments Tongue

Cheers, LukasAngel

Excellent, I love it.
Instrument balances are just perfect to me.

Some minor tweaking ideas that came to my mind.

I wonder if you could add just a bit more warmth to the vox. Now it feels too thin to me

Try to de-ess vox reverb send. If you listen around 0:15-0:22 you’ll hear ess-tails in the room. Otherwise the reverb sounds fine to me.

I wonder if the overall sound is too bright now. Try to listen it against for example any Alison Krauss song. Sounds of her records are always highly valued.

Otherwise ready mix to my ears.

Hey Olli, thanks for your comment.

After listening to your version I noticed that my vocal is a bit empty, so i added some warm low-mids.
I also adjusted the Levels of some instruments (snaps, cymbals, 2nd banjo).
As for the reverb send, I already had it de-essed, if have tweaked both the Verb EQ and De-Esser, I think it's a bit better now.

Will upload V2 shortly.

In my mix there's probably too much low end Smile
