I think vocal and guitars/banjos sound excellent. And that’s the main thing with this song. So well done!

Bass is probably too much in low mids. You might try to make the definition to bass from 800-1500 hz area, and less from 300 hz. Bass is also quite uneven. Some notes of the walking bass disappear and some come out too loudly.

Background voxes sound a bit phasey for example around 2:10

Really enjoyed your mix, very pleasant and easy to listen to. Well done.

Picking up on Ollie's point about the bass......it sounds a little bit uneven during chorus 1 but from verse 2 onward sounds fine to me....
Be fierce in your encouragement, kind in your criticism and try and remember that the art of a good critique is not to make someone else's mix sound like yours...but to help the mixer realize their own vision.
