Turkuaz - LOOKIN TOUGH FEELIN GOOD (SO GOOD)
#1
FIRST and foremost, Turkuaz is amazing and I was pleased to find this here on Cambridge. Secondly, please enjoy this mix.

Coming from an extensive live background, I mixed it as a live performance, not a studio record. I mean... it WAS a live performance ammirite?

Enjoy!

Sounds great! The snare could perhaps be a bit more focused, and in-line with the kick and toms? It's not bad, but it's placement in the image is a bit blurry compared to the rest of the kit. I only started noticing this during the instrumental solo parts, so it's only a minor detail. Good work! ^_^

Hey man, thanks for the critique! Well, the snare is panned dead center, rack off-center to the right (almost online with the hats, like 34 to the R), and floor like 84 hard left. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re tryna say? Maybe to isolate a bit more in its own space, I can buss a Sans-amp, after a single-band filter in the chain at around 400-500Hz, to gather some higher-mid harmonic distortion? Either way, thanks for the input!
