Own Way To Boogie - Olli H
#1
I was sonically and balancewise after a 50's sound with a small modern touch in panning and space.

Nice vintage touch. The piano might be a little too boxy, but can't say if it's something that needs fixing. Somehow your mix delivers very much punch too. Very original.

Hi Olli Love the 50's sound and clarity of everything ,especially the loose skin kick really suits the mix.
As kapu already mentioned maybe a touch less 250-400 in the piano ,also can hear some resonance around 170hz on the snare popping out a touch.
Some Very minor things on an awesome mix !

I agree with the boxiness of the piano. I did try to work with it, but all of my attempts to fix it, changed the sound too much to more modern sound.

Here's another "boogie woogie trio", check the moment when the solo starts

Some minor fixes made as suggested by Kapu and Thedon.

This group must be one of the most talented bands in this multitrack library.
