Hi! Overall it's fine, but there's some clicky transients in high freq on double bass - in my opinion these should be removed Wink

Sounds great Don.

Maybe just a small amount of reverb on the vox to marry it into the rest of the performance space perhaps. No other issues for me.Big Grin

Sounds great: double bass sounds like a double bass, drum kit feels like jazz kit that is played with a bit heavier touch. So stylically perfect approach,at least according to my taste.

THe small bass fill around 1:30 comes as a too separate. Maybe you could add a bit natural room to that one spot.

I wonder if the lowest low end should be tamed a bit. (Or it’s just my ears that were normalized to thinner sound during my own mixing session.)

Well done!

Hi Dave ,I can't get away with anything anymore ,I only added a master reverb to the entire mix lol.
Will Add some effects to the rest including the vocals in version 2.

Thanks for having a listen Olli ,
I agree will have to add some more effects to the bass and others as cheated only added a reverb to only the final mix.
You are right I went for a big processed H i F i sound and probably overdone it as usual.

Thanks for feedback. You certainly have a wider bandwidth in use, again good separation and sense of space. If you're going for the high energy smashing (which I prefer ^_^) then you're going to have to iron frequency spectrum and possibly take some bass and highs away. Can't find anything serious to poke at, so I'll make something up. Ha! The 3rd hit at around 2:20 might be slightly distorted, so you must fix it! ^_^

Mix sounds good. I have to say hearing your mixes made me rethink how i was using my mixcubes. And i think i finally got a grasp on them. I have improved my mixing since joining this site and listening to how your mixes have a natural open sound. Thanks and great job
