Very hf this mix, nearly ripped my ear drum out lol.
You dont seem to have a snare drum, well you do its just getting lost
as the guitars are so loud and so forward in the mix everything is fighting
there is no real defanition in anything

The guitars feel a bit thin, lacking a bit of low end and as takka pointed out the snare seems to be quite distant in the mix.

Thanks for the input Guys updated the first attachment with a new version
trying to get that old 80s style of mix from all in the box processing is a challenging process

A lot better than the first, still very hf so take some top off the snare and
get some more mids on the guitars. You are getting there with tha bass but no real
kick in there to give you a more solid bottom

I would agree with takka, plus you got some digital distortion there!

I think the guitars and drums are killing this mix. Both are very thin and lacking any beef, which is making the whole mix sound thin when in fact the vox and bass seem to be pretty well done. Also there are distortion artifacts running wild throughout the mix.

I don't think you are anywhere as far off as one might think at first listen.

Good luck and thanks for sharing!

its still a work in progress when free time permits us to do so

Very creative. I get compared to a lot of 80's bands, but never Def Leppard. I think that makes me happy... Wink
