I've mixed this song too and hope my comments will help in some way.

I think the basic problem with getting the drums heard properly in this particular mix is that you seem to have run out of headroom. I quick rebalance should help things. The mix just needs a little room to breathe. Everything seems clear enough and I love the sound of the vocals.

Thanks for the quick reply, and really thanks for the useful input! As i said i'm working on them but i don't know if i should make room for them with equalisation or with just levels. Should i cut frequencies that the drumkit needs most or just play with the levels? I'm talking about frequency masking.

Also is it just me or the kick and the snare are already compressed in the tracking stage?
