eclipse audio, thank you for commenting on my track, here are my impressions on yours. I love the dirtier room sound you got on those horns, it reminds me the old Motown stuff. I hear some medium tail reverb on them, the right amount in my opinion. You I see you muted the guitars on the solo part which opened space and let it cut clearly. In my opinion your mix will benefit if you increase the level of your kick like its was in your version 1. If you want to avoid bass masking it, I recommend a kick-sidechained compressor on the bass track to attack fast and release around 160ms to let the kick cut, you could do the same on the guitar tracks to bring the snare more if you want. Other than that I think its a great mix. Cheers and see you on the next song!
