Great mix!! and I love the sound of the accoustic guitar (something I couldn't achieve in my mix).

Thanks for having a listen !
I used a slight harmonic exciter on the accoustic guitars on the upper frequencies to try to enhance them !

Hi thedon,

for my taste your mix is a bit too harsh sounding. Very bright, not too much warmth - you get the idea. This causes your mix to sound a bit indirect.

The volume balance seems good to me.

Hey thedon, nice one. Only listened to the latest one but sounds great. Sibilance on the voc is pretty heavy though, was shocking on the original track I thought, lots of work involved fixing it though I know. Though the el gtr could come before the solo but a minor quibble. Nice job on the acoustics, they were difficult too. Good stuff.

I listened the second version.

I think the band has very nice groove in your mix. And overall balance feels good. Maybe those two things go together. Smile

I like the snare sound. It was difficult. But I wonder if snare is a little bit too far in big space, as otherwise you have emphasized acoustic guitars role.

Vocals maybe too crispy. Ears can get tired quite soon.

Guitar fills (the separate track) and solos could maybe little bit stronger.

Now cymbals and acoustic guitars masking in each other. You might try to locate them into their own frequency areas. And what are those areas? I don't know.

With small adjustements this could be a very good and groovy mix.
